Say You'll Love Me Again by Kiki Archer

The relationship between MCs, Sophie and Jazz, is definitely amongst the most volatile, roller-coaster ones that we’ve ever read. The book is funny, the relationship fun and the supporting cast, fairly okay.

At eighteen, Sophie was young, outgoing and held the future in her hands with a path to join the Symphony Orchestra; when she abruptly changed. She became quiet, hidden and chose to become a piano teacher. At twenty-three, Sophie meets Jazz, a stand-up comedienne. The two have an irresistible pull towards each other and get involved. With both harbouring their own secrets, the relationship is volatile, passionate, fun and aggravating.

Both the MCs are very likeable – though we like Sophie a tad more. Sophie’s best friend, Laura was a great comedic relief. However, we didn’t quite get why Laura and her mom were cast as the bad guys, especially since they were there for Sophie during the time she had withdrawn from the world.

This is a light, fun book with some great sex scenes too.

Surely recommended for an entertaining evening.
