She's the One by Ella Goode

⭐⭐⭐

With 3.75 scenes this is a byte-sized piece of wishful-ness.

Super-hot Maisie has guys falling all over her and fighting with each other to open doors for her. But she has no interest in any of them. In fact, she is something of a killjoy when it comes to discussing guys. The person she finds intriguing is Star, a violet-haired girl who keeps to herself. Maisie has a not-so-great encounter with Star when the door bumps into Maisie and she ends up clutching and then tearing Star’s shirt in an attempt to hold her balance. She promises to replace the shirt and thus they meet and jump into the deep end of a heady relationship.

There is nothing more to the story except for some happy-families background, one really overly long sex scene and a quick three-years-thence wrap up. However, despite its brevity there is enough characterisation for Maisie to be super likeable and Star, not really likeable. There are funny moments and good dialogues making this a very easy read.

This is a strictly YA, wishful piece.
